Today’s Guest: Meital Dohan, singer, actress, “Weeds”
Mr. Media is recorded live before a studio audience of rabbinic candidates who will probably see Yeshiva in a brand new light when this interview is done… in the NEW new media capitol of the world… St. Petersburg, Florida!
If the movie is titled Monogamy and it stars not one but two beautiful women, my money is on there being some sort of threat to the status quo in the title.
I’m just guessing, because the movie opens on Friday, March 18 and I haven’t seen it yet, but I suspect that today’s guest, actress Meital Dohan, has something to do with challenging the relationship between co-stars Chris Messina and Rashida Jones.
MEITAL DOHAN podcast excerpt: “I can say ‘n!pple.’ I can’t say ‘n!pples.’ Because I think one n!pple is better than two n!pples. Think about it.”
Dohan will be a familiar face – and body – to fans of Showtime’s long-running series “Weeds.” On that show, she was Yael Hoffman, the very strong willed Israeli director of admissions for a Hebrew university where Andy hoped to find salvation. But, this being Weeds, viewers knew he’d find something else when she said, “I’m wearing a bra, so stop looking for my n!pples.”
As one YouTube fan wrote, “That was the hottest way I have ever heard anyone say “n!pples.”
