Today’s Guest: Sasha Cohen, Olympic figure skater
Here’s something not everyone interviewing Olympic ice skater Sasha Cohen can say:
She’s quoted on the front cover of my new book.
It’s true: When Mind Over Business hits book shelves on March 6, there is a quote above the title from Sasha, who worked with my co-author Ken Baum in preparing for her legendary appearance and subsequent Silver Medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
SASHA COHEN podcast excerpt: “In ice skating you have one chance every four years at the Olympics — and it’s only a few minutes. You just have to do your best to believe in yourself.”
And within the pages of the book, Ken tells the story of their months of training for the big moment and how Sasha used her mental edge to get up from a fall and give the performance of a lifetime.
Of course, she also wrote her own book, Fire On Ice.
Ken thinks the world of Sasha so when the opportunity to help promote her appearance this Saturday, February 4, in the “Pandora Unforgettable Moments of Love on Ice” on NBC, I jumped at the chance. You can see the special – which also includes performances by Katerina Gordeeva, Ilia Kulik and Kurt Browning and is hosted by Kristi Yamaguchi & Nancy Kerrigan – at 4 p.m. on NBC.

There are far too many out there to just search through
each day. Not only does it help to increase size and strength, it also contributes tremendously to increasing lean muscle mass and gain. Research strongly suggests that people with high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids in their blood experience positive brain qualities such as fewer signs of blood flow obstructions and fewer episodes of Dementia.
