How can a married mother of five—five, damn it!—find time to write a single novel, let alone three that are being published in consecutive months this summer? Even if I allow for romance novels being more plentiful than mainstream stories, that’s still a ridiculous output for a parent.

Her latest novel, White Heat, was just published and is the first book in her new “Heat” trilogy: White Heat in July, Body Heat in August and Killer Heat in September. I get hot just thinking about it.
