An interview only for Idiots: ‘Guide to Business Plans’


Apparently, you don’t have to be a complete idiot to find yourself reading one of the Complete Idiot’s Guides to some subject in which you’re interested.

(Okay, maybe you do, but play along with the premise here.)

Let’s say, for example, that you’ve never started a business—or never started one well. Something you might consider is your approach to that basic element, the business plan. So many of us get a great idea and then try to execute it without thinking through what the idea could be when it grows up, aside from valuable.

So with the economy fighting its way out of the dumpster, I thought it might make for a very special episode of Mr. Media to invite author Gwen Moran on the show. She is the co-author—with Sue Johnson—of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Business Plans, now in its second edition.
