Cameron Mathison, Ryan Lavery of ABC Daytime’s “All My Children,” made a quick visit to Buzzworthy Radio to chat with us about what is to come with the show. Of course, we had to briefly chat about Esta TerBlanche, who many fans loved as Gillian, and what was it like working with her again after 10 years.
“It’s super cool. I had a really great time with that. It’s very simple, even more simple than Leo’s (Josh Duhamel) return, but still very meaningful for me. I did not know what to expect. I know the scenes were simple, but it was still important to have that heart connection. When we got up on set, and we connected in that way, I knew that everything was going to be all right. Gillian represented, in many ways Esta did, the beginning for me at ‘All My Children.’ It was like a slap-fast, rewind back to my beginning emotions and experiences on the show.”
Cameron continued on to express his thank you to the fans for showing so much support him, Ryan, and the show. Without the fans, we would not even maybe have someone taking an interest in the shows, ie Prospect Park. The voices are heard, and he definitely let the fans know how appreciative he is for all of them.

Helen Slater came on to chat about her role in the new ABC Family Original Series, “The Lying Game.”
Helen Slater portrays Kristin Mercer, a loving wife and mother. Lately she has felt hurt by her strained relationship with adopted daughter Sutton. When Sutton suddenly starts acting more agreeable, Kristin’s thrilled. She doesn’t yet know that this “Sutton” is actually twin sister Emma. But Kristin has a secret too, and it’s what caused Sutton to pull away from her mom in the first place.
She also went on to explain why she feels that she is very fortunate to be able to move on from Supergirl:
“I feel very lucky to have transitioned from that. I think longevity is kind of a key, in a way, and I definitely went underground after I had my daughter. I am so grateful for that. I have done Comic-Cons over the years, and when these Supergirl fans or Legend of Billie Jean fans come up to me, it is so lovely with their response. I am completely clueless if that film had ANY kind of impact, but when you talk to the fans, it is fun to hear what their impression was.”
