Roger McGuinn once got insulted because, when I was rock critic at the Tampa Tribune in 1986, I had the temerity to suggest that instead of guesting with every band that appeared in the Tampa Bay area, maybe it was time for him to form his own group again.
Gee, that was easy.
So, by my count, I’m only two degrees separated from Aaron. Or is that three? I’m never sure if you count yourself or not as a degree.
Oh, and after leaving his native Lincoln, Nebraska, he moved to Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn!
