She often works with her friend, Catherine Keener, for example. They appeared together in films such as Please Give, Friends with Money, An American Crime and Lovely & Amazing. And Romy’s had plenty of recurring TV roles, including “CSI,” “Brothers & Sisters,” “Prison Break” and “Swingtown.” She’ll soon be seen in episode of ABC’s “Private Practice” — and she just did a voice for the Kung Fu Panda sequel, too.
You might also have heard of Romy’s husband, Stephen Root. He has been in everything from “True Blood” to “Newsradio” and from “Seinfeld” to “The West Wing.” He’s one of those guys whose name you may not know, but if you saw him, you’d instantly recognize him.
