Today’s Guest: Dan O’Brien, Michael Swaim, writers, stars, “After Hours,” Cracked.com
Many years ago, before the Internet, many of us old-timers got our funnys from print. There were humor magazines lining the newsstands with curious names like Mad, Cracked, Sick, Crazy, the National Lampoon and Spy.
Today, only Mad remains in print.
DAN O’BRIEN podcast excerpt: “We like to think of ‘Agents of Cracked’ as our version of ‘The Odd Couple’ or buddy comedies… We film out of our offices; that was borne out of not having any budget to go on location.”

But while Cracked, founded in 1958, went out of print a long time ago, it made a comeback a year or two ago as an online humor site (and free iPhone app) focused on short digital videos such as “Agents of Cracked.” It competes in the same space as College Humor.com and FunnyOrDie.com.
Joining me to talk about the second season launch of “Agents of Cracked” as well as their new series, “After Hours,” are Dan O’Brien and Michael Swaim.
