My guest today is Bob Eckstein, author of The History of the Snowman and a humor columnist and cartoonist.

But first, I’d like to set the tone for this interview by reading from a poem that Bob found on a needlepoint throw pillow sold at a garage sale:

I made a snowman as perfect as can be, I thought I’d keep it as a friend, and let it sleep with me.I made it some pajamas,And a pillow for its head.Then last night he ran away,But first he wet the bed.
