Katherine Fugate, ARMY WIVES, Lifetime TV show creator: Mr. Media Audio Interview

I am soooo screwed.
If you’re already a fan of the first year drama, you already know it’s sort of like “Desperate Housewives” on an Army base. It’s also the most successful series in the Lifetime cable channel’s history.
If you’re not familiar with the show, check it out. The series is based on Under the Sabers: The Unwritten Code of Army Wives, a book by Tanya Blank. It’s full of sex, lies, booze, and bitches.
And I mean that in a purely professional sense.
Hell, it’s even got a wife who isn’t a wife at all, but a dude married to a woman who is a lieutenant colonel.
All of which is a brief introduction to my guest, Katherine Fugate, the creator of “Army Wives,” which launches its second season on Lifetime on June 8. Katherine is also the niece of TV legend Barbara Eden, star of “I Dream of Jeannie” and a few million grown-up men’s fantasies.
