Doug Savant, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star: Mr. Media Radio Interview

Doug Savant’s real wife, Laura Leighton, is floating lifeless in the pool over at Fox’s new “Melrose Place.”

Meanwhile, his TV wife, Felicity Huffman on ABC's “Desperate Housewives,” is expecting twins—again—and his character, Doug Scavo, a man whose sperm definitely swim, is in the doghouse—again—for that and so many other reasons.
AUDIO EXCERPT: "There's a picture in Entertainment Weekly, the fall television preview, where (my wife, Laura Leighton, star of 'Melrose Place") is kissing Thomas Calabro playfully on the cheek. And I gotta tell you, I don't like it! Nope! I want her kissing me, not somebody else. I love her enough to be a little possessive!"

Is it any wonder the man is choosing to hide out here, on Mr. Media Radio, for the next 15 minutes, to talk about the importance of Listerine, good dental hygiene, fresh breath, and a book of laughs?

Nathan Fillion, CASTLE, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, FIREFLY actor: Mr. Media Audio Interview

Nathan Fillion has paid his dues and, I suspect had a good time doing it. He’s the guy you know and recognize when you see him—oh, yeah, you think—that guy!

He was last seen on “Desperate Housewives” as Dana Delany’s beaten-down, much younger husband, Dr. Adam Mayfair. But before that, you’ve seen him in everything from Joss Whedon’s late, lamented sci-fi series “Firefly” to the online sensation, “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.” He also co-starred in the movie Waitress with Keri Russell.

Now it appears Fillion has met the role that could be a perfect match for him.

He is novelist Richard Castle, the lead character in the new Monday night ABC series “Castle.” The show, which may remind viewers of a certain generation—mine—of “Moonlighting” and younger viewers, perhaps, of “Bones,” airs at 9 p.m.
